Greetings Holiday Card Challenge Community! I hope that you all have been well, finally getting to warm weather ( and for those of you in sunshine all year round… continuing to soak it up!) and enjoying the prepping for summer fun ahead

So… let’s catch up. Thousands of Happy SPring Cards lotsa yummy Girl Scout Cookies, and 1500 Butterflies For SMiles ( made with love by children in Richmond VA) were sent across the Nation and around the World to let our Troops, Veterans and Military Families know we think of them all year long.

I continue to be humbled and amazed by the thousands of cards that continue to come in from DAR Chapters across the Country as part of a three year commitment for their National Project Patriot!! SPECTACULAR!!!

It is exciting also to be able now share that YAHOO is on board and Lt Col JJ ad I will be attending their Valor Summit in DC in a few weeks! Close to 1000 Warriors will be receiving Happy SPring Cards from their “FRIENDS FROM YAHOO”!! YAHOO also set up a table at the Warrior Games last week offering all to sign a card for our Warriors! EXCITING!

We also recently connected with APPLE here in NH and have our very own support team. They are planning to sig cards for the upcoming winter holidays !!! EXCITING!!

Last week, we were invited to participate at the Summit hosted by SWAM Swim WIth A MIssion ( CHeck them out on social media and their website!) An inspiring group supporting Veterans with this year’s theme addressing the horrific suicide rate in the MIlitary) We gathered together with many VSO Veteran Service Organizations to network, to brainstorm and for fellowship, sharing in common a similar passion!

We just finished up NH Gives, a two day fundraising effort along with 600 other NH nonprofits. It is challenging for anyone to engage in fundraising but I have learned that generosity can come in any amount and from any source. We can only get to our goals with the financial partnership with others. The $1 donation fro a 6 year old was as heartwarming and helpful as the thousand dollar donation from a family and a $5,000 donation from a company.
