We aim to make the Holiday Card Challenge fun, easy to do, and meaningful for all who join in. It is a great way for Americans if all ages from ALL 50 States to support our Troops, Veterans , and their families. Schools write cards, from preschool through graduate school. Companies write cards, from a small one person operation to international companies. Groups write cards from book clubs to dance studios to Scouts. Faith communities write cards from all denominations from all religions. Government offices write cards from a small town select board to the US SEnate and House to the President of the United States! First responders write cards from local police and fire to state troopers and EMT. You name the group… they are creating messages of care and cheer
Remember to include a personal message, some home town news in your cards. It can be serious or lighthearted. Draw pictures, Jokes, riddles…. And please NO ENVELOPES
We also partner with you to make our mission, a mission accomplished! As a 501c3, we are a fully VOLUNTEER and DONATION driven nonprofit. ALL donations are gratefully and humbly accepted! One of our favorites from a few years back came from a 6 year old who donated his allowance of $1.00 to “help make the soldiers feel better” We accepts donations directly and also through https://givebutter.com/holidaycards. We have a SPONSOR-A-BOX option that would mail 1,000 cards for $150. Your name will be on the outside of the box letting our Warriors know that they have a friend in you! NEW in 2023 was the old school PENNY DRIVE that many embraced, allowing for a collection that is an easy to do fundraiser at home, office, school, group. Some groups made it a friendly competition which we hear was not just fun but also led to a great donation partnership.
