It has been awhile since our last entry but let me tell you…what a wonderful whirlwind the last few months have been! Sent out over 300,000 cards of cheer and support and we are now at ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED CARDS! And it all started so long ago at one family’s holiday table! It always moves me to think about that, to remember that I realized that all of our chairs were filled and how blessed we were (are!). I knew that there were empty chairs due to deployments, veteran family members living in care centers, and yes …gold star families.
And so the simple task of writing cards seemed like the least we could do and here we are today, a national community of care and supporters for our Troops, Veterans, and military families, everyone joining us to #sharethecare!
Once again 2025 was filled with so much surreal energy to embrace the Holiday Card Challenge! Our Team here at Card Central as we call it, was smiling and happy crying all year long! Thank you to all in ALL 50 STATES, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and Asia for your cards and partnership-donations BECAUSE OF YOU , we once again can all stand together to proclaim, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Ok so what’s next…. Many of you have already reached out to ask about Valentine’s Day. We are on it and the cards are coming in. Please adapt the guidlelines we use for the Winter Holidays and make them about Valentines! We have brand new one page guidlelines AVAILALBE.
